OBITUARY
PHILLIP T. GODFREY, son of the late Mack Smith and Mary Alice Godfrey, departed this life on Feb. 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Joynes Neck, Accomac, VA. He received his education in the public schools of Accomack. At a young age he was affiliated with Pastor Arthur Boggs. He was well loved by his family and friends. He was a friendly person always willing to lend a helping hand. Phillip will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Alice Godfrey, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Minnie Godfrey and Aunt Bertie Finney. He leaves to cherish his memories, son Jonathan Johnson, sister Mary Ann (Jean) Belin, brother George Godfrey, three nieces, Loretta (Barry) Pettit, Tammie (Mark) Colona, Brittany Pettit, three nephews, Anthony Godfrey, Tony Wise, Blake Godfrey, a host of cousins and special friends, Preston Edwards and Claude Wise.
