CATHERINE JUSTICE

MRS. CATHERINE JUSTICE, 77, also known as “Cat” by all her family and friends was born on November 7, 1937 in Mappsville, VA, to the lateVernon and Lena Downing also of Mappsville, VA. She departed this life on November 12, 2014 at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in VirginiaBeach, VA.

Mrs. Justice dedicated her life to serve Jehovah God in July1976. Years later her physical health kept her off her feet from preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom but because of her warm and friendly personality it was easy for her to speak boldly about her faith to anyone whether it be family or a stranger.

Mrs. Justice will be dearly missed by her lovely husband, Oneal Justice of 61 years, who devoted his life to her by working hard to provide for her needs until her death. Also, mourning her demise are seven children: Jacqueline Crumpler (Willie) of Mappsville, VA, Connie Beckett (Vincent) of Accomac, VA, Betty Savage (Wilbur) of Suffolk, VA, Linda Buckholtz (William) of Odenton, MD, Ronnie Justice (Norma) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Teresa Smullin of Bloxom, VA, David Justice (Lucy)of Temple Hills, MD, one brother: Vernon Lee Downing (Lincelbell) of Mappsville, VA, two sisters, Pearlie Mae Dickerson (Lawrence) ofAtlantic, VA and Marion Lee Downing of Mappsville, VA; eighteen grandchildren and a host of many great grands and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Justice was preceded in death by two brothers, Diree Watson and Harold Downing and two sisters, Mildred Shrieves and Frances Parker.
