ALVIN D. PETTIT
ALVIN D. PETTIT, , son of Naomi Pettit and the late Edgar Pettit, Sr. was born September 29, 1956 in Accomac, Virginia. He departed this life on November 15, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. He was educated in the public schools of Accomack County Virginia. He joined Macedonia AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Franklin West. He made many friends. Alvin leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Naomi Pettit of Accomac, Va, three sisters: Mercedes Matthews of Accomac, VA, Brenda Simpkins (Vick) of Onancock, VA, Paula Pettit (Pete) of Accomac, VA; three brothers: Franklin Pettit (Denise) of Parksley, VA, Edgar Pettit, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Graylen Pettit of Fayetteville, NC; three aunts: Maritta Parker, Catherine Mason, and Oralee Pettit; three uncles: Frank Peters, Samuel Mason and Shirley Pettit; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
