LEROY JAMES TAYLOR

LEROY JAMES TAYLOR was born August 22, 1955, to the late Marie and Willie Armstrong of New Church, Virginia. He was called home on April 27, 2012. “Fats” as he was affectionately to his family and friends received his formal education in the public school system of Accomack County, Virginia and graduate from Atlantic High School. Fats loved his family. He was a dedicated father and loving husband. Fats was always willing to lend a hand whenever he was called upon to help. There was no task that he would not tackle. He was the comedian of the family. You could always count on him to make you laugh. He always gave his best and now the time has come for him to get his rest, so spread your wings and get ready for the best. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Curtis Taylor and Theodore Lewis and one sister, Virginia Tull. Leroy is survived by his wife, Violet, four daughters Keva Milbourne, Kelly Taylor, Shayla Taylor, ShaShenna Taylor, four sons Terry Thornton, Leron Taylor, Lemar Taylor, Devon Foreman; five brothers, John Taylor of Pennsauken, NJ, Grover Taylor of Camden, NJ, Sidney Taylor of New Church, VA, William Taylor of Pocomoke, MD, Michael (Joyce) Taylor of New Church, VA six sisters, Gloria Taylor of Sicklerville, NJ, Ethel Thornton (Cornelius) of Pocomoke City, MD, Mildred Chuism of Keller, VA, Lela Taylor of New Church, VA, Sadie Fisher (Vernon) of New Church , VA and Doris Schoolfield of Pocomoke, MD; four brothers-in-law, Larry Redding of Berlin, Wilmer (Beverly) Hammond of Texas ; three sister-in-law Mary Hardy of Berlin, Debbie Trower of Virginia Beach and Virginia Foreman of Berlin, 8 grandkids, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
