MARGARET GIDDINS FREEMAN

Margaret Giddins Freeman was born December 23, 1927 to the late Albert Collins and Alice Giddins in Jamesville, Virginia.

Margaret, “Big Mama” grew up as a farm laborer. She was a wife, mother and an extremely hard worker. During her lifetime she traveled from the upper North eastern coast down to the South eastern region of the United States.

On Saturday evening, April 10, 2021, Margaret Freeman, wife of the late Charles Freeman, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94. Margaret will be forever remembered by her children, Carolyn, Andrew, Tommy, Essie, Gwendolyn, Vera, Victory, Avis, Margaret and Christopher, her 31 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She will also be forever remembered by her extended sons, daughters and friends.
