ANTHONY GODFREY
Anthony Godfrey was born June 21, 1967 to the late Mary Godfrey and Bobby White. He departed this life on May 25, 2020 at Heritage Hall in Nassawadox, VA. He was educated in the Accomack County public schools and early in life he joined Metompkin Baptist Church in Parksley, VA.
He graduated from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA. Anthony was a soft spoken person and was employed with the United States Postal Service.
He leaves to mourn his passing: one son, Blake Godfrey; one sister: Ashley Casseus; one uncle: George Godfrey; step-father Jean Berlin and a host of other relatives and friends.
