OLIPHIAN ANN HALL
Oliphian Ann Hall, affectionately known as “Lif”, was born on January 18, 1936 to the late Vietta Taylor Collins and Willie Bishop in New Church, VA. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Delmar, DE.
Lif received her education in the Accomack County Public Schools. She received Christ at an early age and joined St. Mark United Methodist Church in New Church, VA.
On October 20, 1956, Lif married the love of her life, Samuel Hall and from this union they were blessed with two children.
She was employed by Golden Pride and Perdue Farms until retirement.
Lif was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Samuel Hall, daughter, Carolyn Harsey, son, Tyrone Hall, two brothers, Winfred Bishop and Julius Cropper, sister Mary Bishop, two grandchildren, Raven Roberts and Edward Hall, Jr and two great-great grandchildren, Tyonna Morris and Makayla Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sister, Gloria Taylor of New Jersey, three brothers, John Taylor of New Jersey, Robert (Joanne) Holden of Princess Anne, MD and Nelson (Lucille)Collins of Berlin, MD; three grandchildren, Corey (Laurenetta) Morris and Nicole (Greg) West of Delmar, MD and Kevin (Karen) Hall of Chincoteague, VA; sixteen great-grandchildren, Tycorey, Desmond, Alesha, Alexius, Kanijah, Tykira, T’keyah, T’Niyah, Markel, Markese, Jhendiyah, Kevin, Jr., Destiny, Niasia, Maryah, and Are’yanna; three great-great grandchildren, Ky’Aire, Arianna, and Ayla; one sister-in-law, Peggy Bishop of Atlantic, VA; devoted daughter-in-law, Deborah Hall of New Church, VA, devoted son-in-law, Tony Harsey of Princess Anne, MD; one god daughter, Charlene Dial of Lincoln, DE, and special caretaker, Ms. Tykira Hinmon (great-granddaughter), and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Lif was a lovely and cheerful person whom was loved by many. We will miss her smiling face dearly.
