SHIRLEY ANN STEWART

Shirley Ann Stewart, affectionately known as “Ann” was born November 12, 1956 to the late Charlie H. Stewart, Sr. and Gladys Stevens Stewart.

She was educated in the public schools of Accomack County and graduated from Onancock High School.

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. John Baptist Church in Onancock, VA. Later she joined Gospel Temple Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Marian Cottrell.

Ann was known as a warm kind hearted loving person, who loved the Lord and her family. She always had a smile and was willing to help anyone.

Ann worked at Holly Farms, now Tyson Foods for many years then Perdue Farms until her health began to fail.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charlie Stewart, Jr.

Left to cherish her fond memories are: son, Rashem-Amun’Re (also known as Terrell Stewart), sisters Peggy (Clyde) Bassett, Elsie Hibbler, Bessie (Fred) Parker; brothers, Jerry (Nannie) Stewart and Kendall Stewart, two grandchildren, an aunt, Catherine Veney, dear friend, Ashley Alaniz, host of nieces, nephews, a god-daughter and siblings, other family and friends.
