In October 2010, following Edgar’s death in 2008, Jimmie Williams, his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Fern Wharton, became owners of Williams & Wharton Funeral Home, the successor of Wharton Funeral Home. The staff at Williams & Wharton Funeral Home is proud to be part of this heritage and continue to serve the community with the same passion, caring, and dedication that Edgar K. Wharton reflected to many individuals throughout the community.
