FREDRICK D. GUNTER, SR.
FREDRICK DOUGLAS GUNTER, SR.was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Gunter. He was born on September 9, 1945 and passed away on May 2, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial, Nassawadox, VA.
Fred was educated in the Northampton County Schools System and graduated in 1966. After graduating, he married Dorothy Vennie and moved to New Jersey and had three children, Fredrick Gunter, Jr., Allisea, and Lavinia Gunter. Fred loved working with horses. He had a special touch for that type of work.
Fred loved attending various churches. He was loved by his grandchildren who will miss his laughter and especially his singing.
He leaves to cherish his memories; 2 sons, Fredrick Gunter , Jr., Delaware City, Delaware, Tim Gunter, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Larry Gunter, Exmore, Va. and Lerom Gunter, Manassas, Va.; 1 sister, Diane Thompson (Kenneth); 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; Cousin Pete; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
