JUANITA YVONNE STRAND
JUANITA YVONNE STRAND, daughter of the late Fletcher Strand and the late Estelle Savage Strand Fair, was born March 14, 1937 in New Rochelle, New York.
She departed this life on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Shore Life Care in Parksley, Virginia, after an extended period of illness.
She received her education in the Accomack County Public Schools. She joined Macedonia A.M.E. Church at an early age under the watchful eyes of her grandparents, the late Edward (Ned) and Emma Savage. She was a faithful and devoted Missionary and Trustee until she moved away.
Nita Pie was a loving, very friendly, and wonderful person who enjoyed listening to gospel music, watching golf and football, and working crossword puzzles. She joked with everyone and made a lot of friends at Shore Life Care. She will be missed by all.
She never married nor had children. She is survived by a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives.
