DONNELL RUPPERT HALL

DONNELL RUPPERT HALL was born on May 28, 1961. He was affectionately known by family members as Donnie. To the Accomac crew, he was known as “Hines”. In his younger years, he was a member of Macedonia A.M.E Church. He was educated in the Accomack County Public School System and graduated from Onancock High School. He departed this life on May 28, 2013 in Washington, DC after a lengthy illness.

Donnell studied Masonry at the Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa, VA. After working with his uncle, Robert Hall, he became a masonry expert. In 1982, he moved to Washington, DC and began his career with Widner Chimney Service. In 1996, he inherited the business from his longtime friend and boss Guy Widner. The business name was changed to Widner-Hall Chimney Service. The business flourished until he became ill.

Donnell married Taryn Wise in 1992 and in 2001 they were blessed with their pride and joy, Dacari Jayden.

Donnell loved to entertain and cook for his family and friends. He was a caring and giving person; always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Taryn, loving son, Dacari, his parents Samuel and Lula Hall Seymour; mother-in-law, Carolyn Wilson, 6 brothers, Gary (Marion) Hall, Michael Keith (Angela) Hall, Victor Hall, Samuel (Lenora) Seymour, Jr; Timothy Johnson, James Johnson; 2 sisters, Sandra (Keith) Lee, and Dorothy Johnson; 1 uncle, Robert Hall, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and a host of other family members and devoted friends.
