CINDY ANN MEARS

CINDY ANN MEARS was born on November 7, 1966 to Laurann ConquestMears and Dorsey Mears of Wachapreague. She departed this life on Sunday, April 15, 2012.Cindy attended Arcadia High. When she became pregnant with her first born, she dropped out of the 11th grade to become a full time mother. She attended Saint Luke AME Church in Daugherty, Virginia where she gave her life to Jesus Christ. Cindy was a loving and caring mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and also a committed friend. She was a ebullient person to be around. Also, she loved and cared for her children and grandchildren. She loved to eat food, especially “Sweet Potato Pie”. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Laurann Conquest Mears, father, Dorsey Mears, and a brother, Michael Mears. She leaves behind three sons, Kerwin A. Mears, Marcus L. Mears, and Cardell S. Mears, two daughters, Ciara M. Mears and Laurann Mears, two grandchildren, Ja’breon L. Mears and Ariel A. Mears, two brothers, Gregory Mears Philadelphia,PA, Dorsey (Mousey) Mears Jr. Parksley, VA; four sisters, Sharon Mears, Melfa, VA, Carolyn (Cheese) Mears, Denise (Necey) Baker, Daugherty, VA, Jo Anne (William) Nasir Philadelphia, PA.; one aunt, Mary (Leroy) Nesmith Philadelphia, PA; a special friend, Alfred (Big Al) Bailey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
