JAMES WILLIAM PARKER

James William Parker was born May 13, 1949 to the late George E. Parker and Gertrude Maggie Brim Parker. He departed this life on February 14, 2019 at home in Tasley, VA after a lengthy illness with his companion holding his hand.

He was educated in the Accomack County Public School System. James loved to work and had a passion for cars. He was employed at John Van Kesteren in Tasley, VA and Eastern Shore Tractor in Accomac, VA.

Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, Vernon Edward Parker, Sr. of Baltimore, MD, George Ernest Parker of Tasley, VA and Tommy Parker of Delmar, DE.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Jackie Tyler of Onancock, VA; two daughters, Sandra Kellam of Onancock, VA and Ernestine Bailey of Atlantic, VA; three granddaughters, four grandsons, several great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Mamie Diane Parker-Kellam, and Saundra Rosetta Parker-White, both of Bear, DE and Thelma Diane Chance of Baltimore, MD; two uncles; Solomon Parker and David Parker of Tasley, VA; one sister-in-law, Gloria W. Parker of Baltimore, MD; five nieces, seven nephews, great-great nephews and nieces, great-great-great nephews and nieces; companion Mary Ann Pezzuto and a host of other relatives and friends.
