JACQUELINE WHITE SAVAGE

JACQUELINE WHITE SAVAGE, affectionately known as “Jackie” was born to the late Ralph and Evelyn White on December 24, 1947 in Accomack County, VA. God chose to call her name on March 16, 2017.

Jackie received her education in the Accomack County Public schools and graduated from Mary N. Smith High in 1966. She went on to later become a bus driver for the Accomack County School system for 30 years. She was a dedicated driver of bus #19 and later bus #20. She was also a member of Adams United Methodist Church where she enjoyed serving as the President of the Usher Board.

Family and Friends played an important role in Jackie’s life. She brought so much joy to the room. There was never a dull moment with “Miss Jackie”. We thank God for the time He allowed us to have and cherish with her.

Jackie was preceded in death by one son, Ronald T. Savage, II and two brothers, Sherwood “Shakey” White and Marshall E. Custis.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Romjamil Savage (Minyon) of Princess Anne, MD; two brothers, Rev. Elwood White (Rosalee) of Mappsville, VA and Linwood White (Martha) of Wilmington, DE; one sister, Sarah Bright (Richard) of Baltimore, MD; one sister-in-law, Margaret Custis of Wilmington, DE; six grandchildren, one great-grand daughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
