ROBERT LINDBERGH HALL, SR.

ROBERT LINDBERGH HALL, SR., the beloved son of the late Benjamin and Lenora Hall and stepson of the late Deliah B. Hall was born October 9, 1930 in Bayside, VA.

GOD and his infinite loving heart called Robert to eternal rest on August 1, 2016 at 1:47 p.m. in his home while being cared for and surrounded by his loving family.

“Bob”, as he was affectionately known, was an extremely jovial person and never met a stranger. Bob was an original and ahead of his time. His favorite pastimes included inventing “out of the ordinary”, gardening, working on lawn mowers, and caring for his pets. Bob was serious about his faith and, most of all, Bob worshipped our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ daily. He loved reading the Gospel, listening to the Gospel, and enjoyed gospel music.

Robert attended the public schools of Accomack County. He retired from Perdue.

Robert married the love of his life, Catherine Hall and from this union, 7 children were born. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Hall and two sons, William Hall and Chester Hall, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Janette Harmon (Edward) of Onancock, VA, Phyllis Roberts (Wayne - Companion) of Greenbush, VA, Patricia Roberts (Thomas) of Greenbush, VA, and Shirley Jackson (Garry) of Norfolk, VA; two sons, Robert L. Hall, Jr. (Debbie) and James R. Hall, Sr. (Lolita) of Boston, VA; one daughter-in-law that he loved as his own, Rhonda Hall of Greenbush, VA; two grandchildren he reared as his own, LaNeen Hall of Pocomoke, MD and Orchell Brown (Rodney) of Greenbush, VA; one great-grandchild, Raquel Hall of Kadena AB Japan; a host of other grandchildren; great-grands; great great-grands; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends.
